Ukraine can save up to USD 119 million due to increasing of the EU duty-free agrarian export quotas, estimates Ukrainian Agribusiness Club (UCAB). Ukrainian producers of grains and grain derivatives are expected to save most of the money.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) executive board has allocated USD 37 million for constructing a bulk grain terminal at Yuzhnyi Commercial Seaport, says Artem Shevalev, Ukraine’s EBRD executive board member and former Deputy Minister of Finance of Ukraine.

Ukraine exported 23,000 tons of nuts in the first half of 2016, reports State Statistics Agency of Ukraine. This is 8,800 tons more than in the same period last year.
Yet sales revenues have decreased to USD 44.3 million compared to USD 60.8 million in the first half of 2015.

Ukrainian economy received USD 44.791 billion in foreign direct investments by June 1, 2016, which is a 5.4 percent increase compared to the amount received as of the beginning of 2016 - USD 42.509 billion.
