Ukraine increases grain exports by almost 20%

Since the beginning of the 2015/2016 marketing year (July 2015 – June 2016) Ukrainian farmers have exported 20 million tons of grain crops, 18% more than the previous year, Ukraine’s Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food reported.

Agrarian Minister: Ukrainian dairy products are entering European market

"Ukraine received an official letter from the European Commission confirming that 10 Ukrainian dairy producers have successfully undergone the audit receiving an official OK to supply their products to the EU market. If until January 10, 2016 there are no negative comments from the European countries, these companies will get an access to the European market,” reported Oleksiy Pavlenko, the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

Ukrainian fruit producer to export apples to Egypt in 2016

The agricultural company “Buchachagrokhlebprom” is going to export apples to Egypt starting 2016. The company is also considering exporting to Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. This was stated by Petro Gadz, the chairman of the Supervisory Board of the company.
