EBRD has US $40mn for Ukraine farm sector via NEPF

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has announced that it plans to allocate a US $40mn credit to the New Europe Property Fund LP (NEPF), run by NCH Capital Inc. to improve the effectiveness of its projects in Ukraine’s farm sector.

Ukraine proposes a price of US $268.50 for Russian gas

Ukraine keeps trying to negotiate with Russia for a lower import price for natural gas, at US $268.50 per 1,000 cubic meters. A proposal has already been sent to Gazprom, the world’s largest extractor of natural gas, the UNIAN new agency reports, citing Ukraine’s Minister of Energy and Coal, Yuriy Prodan.

EU Parliament oks temporary tariff cuts on Ukrainian imports

On March 11, the European Parliamentary Committee on International Trade supported temporary tariff cuts on Ukrainian imports to the European Union. The Committee is expected to vote on the resolution on April. The move was initiated by Polish MEP Pawel Zalewski.

IGC growth outlook for Ukraine’s exports remains positive
