Ukraine will harvest up to 40 million tons of grain by the end of September

As of September 23 Ukraine harvested 37.627 million tons of grain and leguminous crops from an area of 12 million hectares, which amounts to 78% of the target.

EU’s Direct Investments to Ukraine Grow 19.3 Percent

The State Committee of Statistics of Ukraine announced that foreign direct investment flow from the European Union to Ukraine over the period of January to July 2011 grew by 19.3 percent compared to the same period of 2010 summarizing that foreign direct investment from the EU over the period totals USD 37.7 billion.
