Qatar ready to build terminals in Ukraine for receiving liquefied gas

Qatar is ready to take part in the construction of sea terminals for receiving and processing liquefied natural gas (LNG) in Ukraine, Pavlo Klymets, Party of Regions MP and member of the parliamentary committee for the agricultural sector and land issues, told journalists in Kyiv on Friday.

According to him, despite the fact that terminals for receiving and processing LNG are quite sophisticated engineering structures, this proposal is of great interest for Ukraine.

Mr Klymets noted that on 20 May First Deputy Prime Minister Andriy Klyuyev confirmed the government’s interest in the construction of this type of terminal.
