Ukraine’s President greets UAE President on UAE’s National Day

Ukraine considers the United Arab Emirates a very promising partner in the Middle East, according to President Yushchenko’s statement to UAE Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the occasion of the 37^th anniversary of the establishment of the UAE.

“Your country is an important and promising partner in the Middle East for Ukraine, one that our country is inclined to expand mutual cooperation with,” he said in his greeting.

Mr. Yushchenko noted that under the leadership of his counterpart, the UAE continues to go from strength to strength as an influential country with a high level of economic development and stability.

The President wished the UAE people peace, success and continuing growth.
