In Q4’08, rye imports to Saudi Arabia grew 6%

From October to December 2008, Saudi Arabia imported 2.435mn t of rye, which is 6% more than during the same period of 2007, according to a report published in the Foreign Agricultural Service of the US Department of Agriculture (FAS USDA). The main supplier of rye to Saudi Arabia is now Ukraine, which provided 43% of the total amount of rye bought.
