Kuwaitis to study in Ukraine

A delegation from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the country’s legislature, led by Dmytro Tabachnyk, has begun to work in Kuwait. The delegates include members from various factions, and the Rector of the National Technical University of Ukraine (KPI), Mykhailo Zhurivskiy. According to Mr. Tabachnyk, the purpose of the delegation’s work is to develop intergovernment cooperation in education and science.
On March 18, talks were held with Kuwait’s Minister of Education, Nouriya Al-Subeeh. On March 19, the delegation was received by the Speaker of the National Assembly of Kuwait, Mohammed Al-Kharafi. The group has already reached agreement about increasing the number of Kuwaiti students who will be admitted into Ukrainian post-secondary institutions, including the National Technical University (KPI).
