According to State Statistics Service of Ukraine, in January-June 2017 Ukraine exported USD 8.77 billion worth of agricultural products, which is 28 percent more than during the first half of 2016.

Asia, Africa and the EU remain major trade destinations that collectively consume over 90 percent of Ukrainian agricultural exports.

As of the first half of 2017, India became the top importer of Ukrainian food, having purchased USD 1.035 billion worth of products. Egypt ran second, having imported USD 862 million worth of agricultural produce from Ukraine.

Ukrainian exporters also earned considerable revenues in the Netherlands (USD 589 million), Spain (USD 584 million), Turkey (USD 485 million), Italy (USD 439 million) and China (USD 435 million).

These seven countries account for more than 50 percent of agricultural export income in the first half of 2017.
