Ireland Is Interested in Importing Ukrainian Poultry

Borys Kobal, the official of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection and the delegation of Ireland discussed the prospect of supplying Ukrainian poultry meat and products to Ireland.

According to Tom O'Callaghan, the expert in agriculture and food industry, poultry makes a considerable part of Ireland’s meat imports. He emphasized that his country is interested in importing frozen poultry from Ukraine.

Mr. Kobal noted that Ukraine possesses considerable experience in exporting poultry products to the EU. The parties agreed to establish a roadmap for opening Irish market for Ukrainian poultry in the near future.
