Ukrainian-Kuwaiti Intergovernmental Commission Holds Session in Kyiv

Ukrainian-Kuwaiti Intergovernmental Commission signed the protocol of their third meeting on cooperation in trade, economic and technical spheres. Ukrainian delegation was headed by Ihor Nasalyk, Minister of Energy and Coal Industry  of Ukraine, while the Kuwaiti party was represented by Sheikh Nimr Fahd Al-Malik Al-Sabah , Deputy Minister of Commerce and Industry of Kuwait.

The session included expert consultations, which offered insights on how effective investments in Ukrainian economy can be, what exporting opportunities are available and how the investment legislation of both countries works.

Among the promising areas of cooperation, Ihor Nasalyk described the possibility of equipping state agencies and airlines of Kuwait with new AN-132 and AN-178 transport aircraft, high-performance passenger aircraft and their modifications, as well as performing airlift operations of extra-heavy and oversized cargo by Antonov Airlines.

The Kuwaiti representatives reiterated their willingness to cooperate, confirmed openness of their markets and encouragement of investments for which the state creates comfortable investment climate. In addition, the Kuwait Fund is ready to finance priority projects of mutual interest.
