Ukraine’s Ambassador to the UAE meets with Emirates’ Economy Minister

Ukraine’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Serhiy Pas’ko, met with the UAE Economy Minister, Sultan bin Said Al-Mansouri.  The two reviewed the state of relations between the two countries in trade, agriculture and investment and their future prospects. A separate point of discussion was Ukraine’s preparations to host the EURO-2012 football championships and related infrastructure projects in which Emirate investors might be able to participate.

During the visit, the two sides agreed that the Embassy would regularly update this information regarding Ukraine. They also reached agreement about a fall visit to Ukraine by a group of UAE experts from the Ministry of Economy to study investment opportunities in Ukraine and prepare for the drafting of a package of economic agreements. These will be signed during one of the next high-level bilateral visits.
