GDP expected to grow 4.5% in 2011

Ukraine’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is expected to grow by 4.5% in 2011 in real terms.

This is the indicator used in the Draft State Budget for 2011 posted on the Verkhovna Rada site.

Nominal GDP is expected to be UAH 1.253 trillion.

Ukraine’s real GDP grew 4.9% in Q1’10, 5.9% in Q2 and 3.5% in Q3.

In 2009, GDP contracted 15.1%.

The Cabinet of Ministers submitted the Draft State Budget to the Verkhovna Rada on Friday, December 10.

Premier Mykola Azarov expects the 2011 Budget to be adopted by December 23, 2010.
