Ukraine is ready to participate in the construction of the Trans-Anatolian gas pipeline from Azerbaijan through Turkey to Europe. Ukraine wants to “both make a financial contribution and provide pipes and compressor stations,” said Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov during the meeting with Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan.

The Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, in Yalta, is one of many such named cathedrals. A number of cathedrals with the name 'Alexander Nevsky' were built in countries like Ukraine, Israel and Russia. These buildings were built during the rule of either Alexander II or Alexander III of Russia to celebrate them as leaders. The Alexander Nevsky Cathedral situated in Yalta, a beautiful seaside resort, was built in the early twentieth century, in 1902.

The Kyoto park in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv boasts the longest in the world alley of sakura trees (Japanese cherry trees). The alley is 1.8 kilometers long (approximately 1.12 miles). The official representatives of the Guinness World Records will register this world record on April 28, 2012.
