Ukraine will export an additional 6.6 million t of crop by June

By the end of this marketing year, which began in July 2012 and ends in June 2013, Ukraine will have exported an additional 6.6 million tonnes of crops, the Agricultural Ministry of Ukraine has announced, citing Agricultural Minister Mykola Prysiazhniuk.

Ukrainian exports exceed imports for the first time in 4 years

According to the Derzhkomstat, Ukraine’s state statistics agency, January 2013 showed a positive balance of trade for the first time in the last four years, in the amount of US $15.8 million.
